Vero Beach - Crown Jewel Marching Festival

Eat breakfast before you arrive to the band room!

6:50am Load buses and equipment truck -get uniforms and
Instruments together and on the bus

7:00am Uniform check on bus - By the officers and chaperones

7:15am Depart for Vero Beach High School, Vero Beach, Fl

9:00am Arrive at Vero Beach High School, get in uniform - unload - get out instruments

9:15am Warm- up physical- set up percussion pit

9:30am Instrument Warm up

10:30am Prelims Field Performance

10:45am Pack up equipment - change into show shirt and jean pants and sneakers, hat

11:00am Watch other bands

11:30am Depart for Lunch at Vero Beach Mall Food Court - Bring Lunch Money

1:30pm Watch More Bands

3:45pm Retreat for prelims

4:30pm Dinner Break at Vero Mall or Concession Bring Money for dinner

6:30pm Finals

10:00pm Finals Retreat

10:45pm Depart Vero Beach for Home

12:30amish Arrive Back at Cocoa Beach. - All Parents please be at school no later than 12:00am

Band will provide ice water during breaks. Emergency Cell phone number for Mr. Brooker is 258-7527. Emergencies only please. These schedules are meant as a guide. Each event has its own unique challenges and that may affect the printed schedule. Please understand these schedules are flexible. Bring Show shirt-tucked in, Jean Pants/belt, Tennis Shoes, Band Hat, Water Bottle, Duffle Bag, Money for lunch and Dinner, hoodies or band jacket.

We will need extra parent help packing up for the trip to Vero Beach Friday night and unpacking upon our return to Cocoa Beach- - The students will be exhausted. Please lend us your hands.
Admission is $12.00 The event is located at : Vero Beach High School, 1707 16th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, 32960- please use mapquest or go to their band website at http://www.crownjewel.vero-beach.fl.us/ for their directions, etc. Please plan to arrive early as you may run into traffic or get lost in route. Chaperones and pit crew must enter with band.
