Congratulations to the Cocoa Beach Jr Sr High School Wind Ensemble for a great performance today at MPA. They received a Superior rating in Sight Reading and and an Excellent rating on stage. Great Job!

Special Thank you to all of the parents who helped out today as chaperones and for those that came to listen and show their support.....it really means alot to have you there with us.

On to Washington DC for some more fun !!!

Dear Parent's

It's time for the final Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School Band Spring Fund-raising Campaign!

The money is greatly needed to help pay for many music expenses as fund-raising has been low. After a high demand for cheesecakes - they are back with a great new company personally tested by Mrs. Campbell! We will be raising money by taking orders for delicious cheesecakes, cookie dough, and snack items.

Our suggested customers are: 1) Parents 2) Relatives 3) Friends 4) Teachers 5) Neighbors 6) Business Owners

Some important details:

1) We will have a presentation and begin taking orders for two weeks starting Monday, March 1 and then turning in our order forms by March 15.
2) There is no sales tax.
3) Anticipated delivery will be the week of April 5th.
4) All the gourmet food items can be in the freezer for six months.
5) Cumulative cash prize program for student sellers.
6) all checks are made out to school
All Students will get free cheesecake samples on monday - to wet their appetite!

Participation is voluntary but very much needed!

Pre Fest March 5 at Cocoa Beach High School

March 5th - 2010 at Cocoa Beach

The Wind Ensemble will have only one after school rehearsal /prefest this year. In years past we had two after school rehearsals and a prefest as well. This year we are trying to get it all done in one day.

2:30-4:20pm w/ Mr. Kreines

4:20pm - Free Pizza and Drinks at concessions - Must stay on campus!

5pm Merritt Island performs for prefest - and judges

5:30pm - Cocoa Beach Prefest Performance- done by 6pm if everything is running on time.

Students are having sectionals to prepare their parts. I and Mrs. Campbell have been volunteering to stay after with them and work the sectionals. They are really coming along!
