CBHS Volunteer of the Year!

Congratulations to Mrs. Claudia Davis for being selected as Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School's Volunteer of the Year !!

Claudia Davis

Mrs. Davis has been a volunteer for the band program for the last four years here at Cocoa Beach. She has volunteered countless hours yearly through heading up concession committees, volunteer committees, dances, concert dress, uniform fittings, community parades, chaperoning, etc. and is currently heading up the Band Boosters blog spot on the internet and maintaining the band boosters website. She was also voted by the band parents as the Band Treasurer for the band and over sees thousands of dollars annually in fundraising and student fees for the program coordinating with Mr. Brooker and the schools bookkeeper. She is the mother of Chuck Morris a Baritone saxophonist in the marching band, Wind Ensemble and Jazz band.

She is representing all of the band volunteers who put in so many hours in support of the band and our school. This is the third straight year that a band parent has been the volunteer of the year. Band parents put in more volunteer hours than any other group.

CBHS Wind Ensemble Spring Trip to Virginia

The Cocoa Beach High School Wind Ensemble Spring Trip to Virginia - Registration forms were due today in class. There were quite a few that said they forgot their forms. If your student is planning on attending, please send in the form on Tuesday so that we can be sure of the number of students attending the trip. We can accept the deposit later or through Charms. We need at least 45 to make the trip affordable for all. We need to begin making the reservations for hotels and transportation now before they are all booked up.

Once you register for the Spring trip all payments can be made through the Charms online program or by sending in checks.
