District Marching Festival - Palm Bay High School


Eat a big lunch before you arrive to the band room!

3:15pm Report on Field - Drill -Warm-up on Field w/instruments

3:15-:4:00pm Run through Show w/instruments - Then Hydration break

4:15-4:45pm Load equipment truck - get Instruments together
Band should dress be in band bibbers, shoes and socks. Carry all hats
gauntlets and water bottles, place jackets on Window

5:00pm Uniform check/ roll call on bus - By the officers and chaperones

5:15pm Depart for District Music Performance Assessment, Palm Bay, Fl

5:45pm Arrive at Palm Bay High, get in uniform - unload - get instruments ready

6:30pm Instrument Warm up

7:15pm Field Performance

7:30pm Pack up equipment - Remove Jecket Put on Ball Cap- ust have have cap!

7:45pm Dinner break at Concessions (bring money for food )

8:15pm Watch other bands

9:00pm Presentation of Awards

9:45pm ish Depart Palm Bay High after presentations

10:25pm ish Arrive Back at Cocoa Beach. - All Parents please be at school no later than 10:30pm

Band will provide ice water during breaks. Emergency Cell phone number for Mr. Brooker is 258-7527. Emergencies only please. These schedules are meant as a guide. Each event has its own unique challenges and that may affect the printed schedule. Please understand these schedules are flexible.

We will need extra parent help packing up for the trip at school to Palm Bay and upon our return to Cocoa Beach- The students will be exhausted. Please lend us your hands.

Parking is $5 and Admission is $5.00 The event is located at Palm Bay High School. Please plan to arrive early as you may run into traffic or get lost in route.
